Memorial Day / Birthday cake need help with dimensions.?

I'm doing a Memorial Day / Birthday Cake for my husband and I decorate it like the flag. I'm not just throw it together and just put some stars and strips. I think a lack of respect for what I want to do well. 13-band and 50 stars. I made a 9×13 cake can someone help me figure out the wideth of the strips and how big the blue patch would have to be so I get the 50 stars of existence. I would really appreciate it. Thanks! Oh, and just so everyone knows I also do cake decorating as a hobby and I have made wedding and birthday cakes, so the use of real cake decorating materials. Including food coloring paste.

Good, after thinking this.i have an answer to what I would do if me.Food coloration is very tricky.Make its frosting, then add a couple drops in a time.Make sure you wear old clothes when it comes to food coloring.I learned the hard way.Put blue frosting on the cake, except the stars area.com back with white frosting. The cake pan is 13 x 9's and 13 bars would be 1 / 2 for each srtipe.That is 6 1 / 2 inches.There would be 2 1 / 2 inches and the width left.Split of stars stripes. The Wite would be 4 x3 1 / 2. Since the top of the cake is 13.half would be 6 1/2.So 4 x 3 1 / 2 for a hard stars.This questions one.Any? Please contact us.
